Toonzetters

20 young composers working in the Netherlands create new pieces for pianos and percussion

After a first tour from Oranjewoud Festival in the summer of 2022 to Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ in early 2023, Toonzetters is planning a second tour. 20 young composers have created one continuous musical experience with video portraits. Musicians involved are up-and-coming pianists Ramon van Engelenhoven and Shane van Neerden and percussionists Arjan Jongsma and Agostinho Sequeira.
